Doulas, postpartum doulas, birth support and care providers, would you love to learn hands-on yoga tools to offer prenatal mamas support with common pregnancy discomforts, like low back pain, hip discomfort, and tired legs? Join us for an afternoon overview of how yoga can help your pregnant and new-mama clients. In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn simple yoga poses and short sequences that can offer relief for prenatal moms and poses and sequences you can share with postpartum moms who may be struggling with upper body and shoulder tightness, diastasis recti, or who are just looking for helpful information on what to do to safely rebuild core and hip strength. We’ll look at breath work and mantra as tools for birth, too.
You’ll leave with handouts of information you can pass on to your clients, a new comfort with yoga as a tool, and a sense of well-being in your own body, since we’ll practice everything we learn!
