Join Lauren, Alexandra, and Liz on Sunday afternoons at Loving Kindness Yoga School to learn ways to take care of yourself and your little one during pregnancy and beyond. We'll talk about getting good sleep for both you and your baby, learn yoga that can be helpful prenatally and postnatally, discuss ways to support yourself during labor (including massage and breath work), and share ideas, concerns and joys with other pregnant students. Prenatal Partner Workshop (April)

This workshop will teach expectant parents and their birth partners postures which are beneficial throughout pregnancy and during labor. In addition, couples will learn breath, massage, and relaxation techniques designed to relieve the discomforts of pregnancy and to prepare them for childbirth. The special session will allow couples to deepen their relationships and to connect with their unborn children in a relaxed, supportive environment. Suitable for all trimesters. No previous experience with yoga is necessary. $40 per pair (only 1 person in pair needs to register online.)

The Whole Mama Yoga Retreat

Join Alexandra and Lauren of Whole Mama Yoga for a retreat that is honest, nourishing, heart-opening, community-oriented, and spirit reviving at the beautiful Rock Quarry Farm on the outskirts of Chapel Hill. We want to accommodate as many possibilities for this retreat as we can, so there are lots of options for joining us. On Friday, we'll connect, practice a grounding and restorative yoga practice, and then socialize over snacks and wine. For participants who spend the night, we'll offer a light and nourishing breakfast on Saturday morning. And then everyone will come together on Saturday from 9:00-3:00 for yoga, a tasty and nutritious lunch, connection and journaling time, and surprises! You can come just for Saturday, join us for both days, or even choose to stay at the Farm overnight. It’s going to be a glorious weekend for renewal, yoga, and mamahood!
