Program: The Whole Mama Yoga 85-hr Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training
Position Type: Work Study / Part-Time
Reports To: Lead Trainers - Lauren Sacks and Erin Hanehan
Location: Hybrid - final weekend of training (April 17 - 19, 2026) will be on-site in Chapel Hill, NC
Hours: Approximately 10 hours in December 2025 + 5 hours in April 2026
Compensation: Partial tuition credit toward WMY Teacher Training ($500 off early bird pricing)
Position Overview
This Work Study position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a comprehensive Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training while contributing meaningfully to the program’s success. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about yoga, compassionate about supporting pregnant individuals, and eager to gain hands-on experience in both yoga education and program administration.
Responsibilities
Assist with Marketing the YTT through social media posts, Yoga Alliance coordination and other publicity
Assist with setup and breakdown of training sessions (in-person or virtual)
Support lead trainers during sessions (e.g., managing attendance, materials, timing, and technology)
Help coordinate communication with trainees (emails, reminders, scheduling updates)
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming training environment
Provide light administrative support such as note-taking, tracking hours, and managing resources
Model professionalism, inclusivity, and mindfulness within the training community
Qualifications
Passion for yoga and interest in prenatal or women’s health
Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Willingness to assist with both practical and administrative tasks
Availability April 16 - 19, 2026 in Chapel Hill, NC
